Introduction to the Exciting Nomination

I am thrilled to announce that I was nominated for the Woman Who Awards 2025. This recognition means the world to me, and I am incredibly thankful for the support and encouragement from my Athena Network community. This nomination is not just a personal achievement; it represents our collective journey and efforts.

The Woman Who Awards celebrates the achievements of women across various sectors, shining a light on those who have made significant contributions in their fields. It is an honor to be considered alongside such inspiring women who are pushing boundaries and making a difference every day.

Throughout the years, this award has highlighted remarkable stories of resilience, innovation, and leadership. Being a part of this legacy is both humbling and invigorating, motivating me to continue striving for excellence in all that I do.

Reflecting on My Journey

As I reflect on my journey, I am reminded of the countless challenges and triumphs that have shaped me. From the early days of my career to where I stand today, each step has been a learning experience. The support from colleagues, family and friends has been instrumental in reaching this point.

My journey has taught me the importance of perseverance and embracing change. These lessons have not only been pivotal in my personal growth but have also empowered me to support others in their journeys.

How did I get here?

My journey has been a challenging one. I used to be a Driving Test Examiner until all of a sudden, I became ill with chronic fatigue syndrome which halted my life in its tracks.

It has taken some time to get to where I am now, and my nomination journey was based on how I have overcome those challenges, to building a sucessful business.

I was delighted to be called a finalist, and although I didn't come away with a trophy this year, I had the most amazing experience and will be applying again next year!
